Welcome to the Physical Properties Network

Physprops.net is the internet interface for the Physical Properties Network, an interdisciplinary network for people working on physical properties within the natural environment. The aim of this network is to provide a single platform for discussing issues and topics of common interest, to enable different disciplines to learn from existing specialist expertise in complementary fields, and to stimulate the transfer of this expertise across discipline boundaries. It aims to be a scientific forum where questions and problems related to physical properties of materials and systems can be exchanged, discussed and solved. We invite researchers from all disciplines to participate and provide a broad scientific and technical forum.

The network is initially funded by NERC under the Knowledge Transfer Scheme. This covers the processes by which knowledge, expertise and skilled people transfer between the NERC science base and its user communities, to contribute to the economic competitiveness, quality of and effectiveness of public services within the UK. Please browse our website and see what benefits there are to joining The Physical Properties Network. Registration is currently free and allows you to enter our members only area providing resources and networking opportunities.

N.B. By joining this scientific community we trust you will respect other peoples opinions and refrain from posting any offensive statements or material. Any member found to violate this trust will be banned from using this site.
